Master stylist Woody Theis from Juut Salon Spa shares a tip with us right now based on her experience from her line of work when it comes to meeting new people.
“Always find something about them that you really truly appreciate. Whether it’s a scarf that they have on, their lip color maybe it’s their hairstyle and well if all else fails and it feels awkward bring out hair. It works every time.” Says Woody. Connecting with someone from a level of beauty is one of the easiest ways to reach out and be authentic about it. It helps people realize how special they are and makes the connection so much more meaningful and easier for both sides.
Giving compliments doesn’t hurt anyone plus it builds self-esteem to those whom you are giving it to. If you have a hard time looking for compliments just take note that everyone has something worth noting. Make a habit of finding the good in others even if its just the little things as long as its genuine and sincere.
