Networking with people who serve (or are) your same target market is not only effective but you’ll find that you’ll have an easier time connecting by having so much in common. Terry Laymen, a representative with Rodden and Fields shares with us a networking she finds useful.
One of the things that she found in her business and in most women’s businesses is networking creates different relationships. Being able to talk to the type of people that you are meeting with is called like a target market. “To me, being able to have the right information or just being able to know what that other persons benefits might need will help me talk to them.” says Terry.
So as you’re going about doing your networking make sure you select events with people you want to meet that fit your target market or serves your target market and you will find it very beneficial.
